• Areva T&D India bagged an order worth Rs 70 crore from BHEL for a Gas-insulated Substation (GIS) package. The package is for the manufacture and installation of 420 kV and 230 kV GIS for Tamil Nadu Electricity Board's North Chennai thermal power project, and will also include the engineering and supply of Circuit Breaker bays and around 1.5 km of Gas-insulated Lines.

• McNally Bharat Engineering Company bagged an order worth Rs 173.20 crore from Mahanadi Coalfields for a coal handling plant with silo loading arrangement including belt conveyor, paddle feeder, over ground bunker, silo with rapid loading system, utility system, electrical & instrumentation, civil work and structural work in Sambalpur, Orissa.
